On Sunday February 28th, three participants from the Cincinnati Union Ironworkers and Contractors participated in the American Lung associations annual Fight For Air Climb at the Carew Tower.
Journeyman Ironworkers John Baugh, George Pruitt and Apprentice Ben Ryan ran all 45 floors of the Carew Tower to do our part in helping to fight Lung Cancer. They toughed it out along side of over 200 other men and women from around the Tri-State and they were cheered on by 5 other members and their families.
We are trying real hard here to make some difference within the city we have worked so hard to build. We would like to thank all those that made it possible to be there last Sunday. If it wasn't for their financial support 8 Ironworkers would have stayed home on the couch and we would have never made it on the news that day.
